Another day, another MAC release!

While the last MAC collection I reviewed was full of soft, sparkly shadows, the new MAC Manner Pack collection, which arrives online June 9, 2022 and in stores June 23 through July 28, has bangin' bold, vibrant colors.

We usually get lots of pastels this time of year, so these deep purples and saturated pinks are a squeamish departure.

First upwards, the Runway Worthy Eye Shadow ten 9 ($32), a mostly cool-toned palette with royal, pink, gray and mauve tones.

Most of the shadows are Satins or Frosts, but there is a smile-inducing 🙂 glittery pinkish right in the centre called Available in Petite.

The Eye Shadow x ix palettes are pretty small-scale, which is a mixed blessing. On the plus side, they're bully for travel.

This palette to me represents both the best and worst of MAC Eye Shadows, because there's a lot of variety among the colors, which is great, and, overall, I think the selection'south unique. I too particularly like the shade called Hypnotizing considering information technology has a flake of warmth to information technology, making it a more wearable grey for me.

On the other manus, the quality seems to exist a scrap inconsistent. The deepest imperial color (Nice Fit) isn't very shine, and Snappy Way takes several layers to reach fully opacity. I think that whether or not this palette is a must-have for yous depends on how much you like the colors… To be certain you lot're happy with the quality, I practice suggest trying them out in person.

At first, Runway Worthy made me think of the Burgundy Times Ix palette (swatches here), but as soon every bit I got them next, the colors looked totally unlike.

As for the Fluidline Pens, of course blackness liner is a staple, but Indelibly Blue (a deep navy blue) and Privet (sea green) are so pretty!

I'chiliad no pro when it comes to liquid liner, so it's squeamish that the Fluidline Pens take a tip that isn't flimsy. I'1000 able to get a pretty good wing with them and don't really have whatsoever issues with them running into my optics.
